Convention for RESIN_MACHINE_NAME on Raspberry Pi 2 & 3

#1

The behaviour differs from Raspberry Pi 2 and 3.
Pushing to a Raspberry Pi 2, I get RESIN_MACHINE_NAME=raspberry-pi2 and pushing to a Raspberry Pi 3 I get RESIN_MACHINE_NAME=raspberrypi3 without the hyphen. It is a bit misleading. Does it obey to some kind of conventions ?

Hey @benoitguigal,

You’re right, It’s a legacy issue that I think that was originally based off of the foundations machine name. We have plans to consolidate the device-types soon, so that it’s consistent with the other pi models, but it’s a key that many services depend on so it’s not a simple fix.
